Are you ready to dive into the world of Ski Patrol and explore what it takes to keep the mountain safe and fun? Join us on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 6:30 AM to 4:15 PM for our Ski with Patrol Day at Wintergreen Resort. This full-day immersive event is designed for those interested in Ski Patrol and the Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC) course.
Event Highlights:
Attend the morning muster meeting and learn about the day’s operations.
Help open the mountain and set up safety signs and equipment.
Gain hands-on experience pulling a toboggan sled.
Shadow potential incident responses and explore our safety procedures.
Discover how our equipment works and tour the ski patrol facilities.
Meet current patrollers, including recent OEC course graduates, and hear their experiences.
Get an inside look at how we operate to maintain safety and fun on the slopes.
