The Great Rhododendron Quest with The Nature Foundation at Wintergreen

Join Josh Palumbo as we journey high and low for the best rhododendron thickets Wintergreen has to offer. Seeking this member of the heath family at peak bloom promises some of the best explosions of color the mountain will have all year. We will travel over many different trails and locations that will highlight one of our favorite species. The hike is rated moderate to difficult.
