What’s better than sipping on wine or mead? Sipping on Hill Top wine or mead while holding a baby goat! Every spring, we have March babies and our customers always enjoy holding them. This year we have baby goats and lambs! We love to share them while they are small enough to hold! We allow people to hold them at other times, as long as the weather is nice and we have the staff to manage goat wrangling, but we are sitting aside this time on Saturday to make sure you can play with the babies. After 2pm, when we are busiest, we may not be able to accommodate everyone who wants to participate in goat snuggles so come early! The winery opens at 11am. There is no charge for this event as we love sharing our farm animals. Remember you can feed our goats and sheep every day from 11-5. Only feed them the goat food we provide please, not human food or our berry plants! Holding our goat kids and lambs is great socialization for them and helps them on their journey to being someones beloved pet! Their mothers don’t mind as they are our beloved pets and they are used to sharing their babies.
