Nelson Heritage Center Hosts Author Joe Stinnett

“Out of Virginia” author Joe Stinnett will be at the Nelson Heritage Center to talk about his book. Central Virginia slaves and freed persons left Virginia for Liberia both before and after the Civil War. Some Nelson County families were among the colonization group.
