Dark Sky Night: Total Lunar Eclipse at Natural Bridge State Park

Come see a total lunar eclipse with our park rangers at this International Dark Sky Park. Pick out constellations, observe planets and nebulae through a telescope, and take in the silhouette of the star-lit Blue Ridge Mountains. Be sure to bring a chair or blanket and a red-light flashlight if you have one. This program will start at the Skyline Trail parking lot and require a moderate 10-minute hike up a hill. If you’re unable to walk up the hill, a wagon with 20 seats will be available. Pre-registration is required to reserve a seat on the wagon. Only one wagon runs per night, and space is limited. A same-day ad-mission receipt to the Natural Bridge covers your fee.
