Blue Ridge Rocks and Mountains Watercolor Workshop at The Nature Foundation at Wintergreen

Let the fun begin immediately with a demonstration by artist Carolyn Velletri! After basic technique instruction, participants ages twelve and over will create a small painting of our beloved Blue Ridge rocks and mountains. Using thumbnail sketches, we will develop our painting from various sources including photos and actual rocks! Attendees will try a variegated wash, wet in wet technique, and learn and use some fun watercolor tricks on the rocks to complete their unique work of art! Bring your own lunch. Register in advance.
