Annual Skate Nelson Festival at Rockfish Valley Community Center

Competitions run 2pm–6pm Age Brackets:5-8 years old, 9-12 years old, 13-16 years old, 17+ years old. Halfpipe Competition: Qualification Round: Two runs per skater, 30 seconds each. Final Round: One run per skater, 45 seconds. Judging based on Difficulty, Amplitude, Variety, and Execution. Game of Skate: Head-to-Head Matchups: Skaters compete in a bracket-style tournament. Each skater tries to land a trick the other has to match. The first skater to spell “SKATE” loses the game. Live Music from 3pm–9pm! On the skate park stage: MothPuppy, Smoke, R-N0T. On the festival stage: Pinkish, 7th Grade Girl Fight, Shagwuf Plus food trucks, vendors, and more!. Tickets $10/advance, $15 at the gate. More info and registration coming soon!
