A Journey Through Artful Lives and Timeless Craft: The 31st Artisans Studio Tour November 8–9, 2025

Now in its 31st year, the Artisans Studio Tour continues its tradition of welcoming the public into the working spaces of Virginia’s finest makers. This fall, 47 artisans will open their studio doors, offering visitors a firsthand look at the artistry, processes, and stories behind their work.

This year’s tour features a vibrant blend of returning favorites and fresh voices. Seven new artisans join the ranks, including two emerging artisans, whose work promises bold perspectives and evolving craft traditions. In addition, four new studios enrich the tour’s landscape—each with a unique aesthetic and dedication to creative excellence.

From hand-thrown pottery and weaving to metalwork, glass, woodcraft, and mixed media, the tour spans a diverse range of mediums and artistic visions. Guests are invited to explore 24 studios, meet the makers, and experience the quiet magic of handmade beauty in the places it’s born.
