32nd Annual Artisans Studio Tour

We are pleased to announce that preparations for the 32nd Annual Artisans Studio Tour on November 14th & 15th are well underway. Showcasing exceptional craftsmanship in ceramics, woodturning, jewelry, glassblowing, and other fine craft, this year’s Tour will feature 45 artisans across 22 unique studio locations. Whether you are a long-time supporter or joining us for the first time, this event promises a vibrant celebration of creativity and artistry. In addition to welcoming back your favorite artists, we are delighted to feature five new artisans and two emerging talents on this year’s Tour. Don’t miss the chance to explore exceptional work by sculptor Lynda Filbert, jeweler Jocelyn Sandberg, potter Robin Teas, basketmaker Carolyn Trammell, potter Madeleine Watkins, and potter Polly Wolfe. With so much to see as you travel the beautiful Virginia countryside, many visitors opt to make it a weekend. Consider booking lodging early before accommodations fill up. The Artisans Studio Tour is self-guided, free, and open to the public both days from 10 am to 5 pm. Following the map and directions provided, you’ll enjoy demonstrations and visual aids at each studio, offering a firsthand look at the craft-making process. You’ll also have the opportunity to purchase work directly from the artists. For updates about the Tour we encourage you to follow us on Facebook and Instagram and sign up for our email list on our website. Don’t miss out on our Passport Program, where you can win shopping credit with a participating studio artisan of your choice. Pick up a Passport card at any studio during the weekend and collect stamps from each studio you visit. Every visitor has a chance to win a $50 credit, and if you visit five or more studios, you could win a $300 credit!
